Rules are rules. She and her parents agreed to them when she was enrolled. Don't like them? Fine, go elsewhere. I'm just so tired of hearing about the poor little picked on Christian. It's a fairly safe bet that if this were re: a student wanting to wear a pentagram, it wouldn't have gotten the attention that this story has.
